John Legend gave congregation members at Calvary Baptist Church in Philadelphia a Sunday morning they won’t soon forget — by giving them a surprise performance! Legend led the choir in a spirited rendition of the gospel classic, “How I Got Over.”
The Grammy winner also lets us know that he paid his way through college by working as a church choir director. Let the church say “amen” to that.
