Five years ago, Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans. The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is turning into another environmental disaster for the states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Artists John Legend, The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, politicians and business leaders have joined together to raise money for the fisherman and families along the Gulf Coast. The concert, “Guardian of the Gulf Aid Benefit” takes place today from 12 PM to 10 PM behind New Orleans’ legendary Mardi Gras World. Attendees will hear stars perform and talk about the destructive oil spill.
