However, celebrated NFL player Jim Brown wishes the new crop of African-American football stars would take off their dancing shoes in order to prevent stereotypes, according to the Austin-American Statesman. “They voluntarily take us back to the stereotypical things that we fought so hard to get rid of. That’s why I’m so adamant against that,” Brown said. The legendary athlete is optimistic football players will make a change for the better.
