If ever there was a concert to seal a commitment to Black love for the neo-soul generation, it’s a Maxwell and Jill Scott pairing. The two have announced a U.S. tour that will kick off on May 21st in Cleveland, with additional dates in 20 cities, including Philadelphia, Oakland, Houston and New York. Maxwell is fresh off his Grammy-winning streak for BLACKsummers’night’ and Jill Scott is about to star in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married, Too?” and release her latest album, “The Light of the Sun” this summer.
