Jill Scott and Maxwell Announce U.S. Tour
We don't care what the haters have to say about Black love, we believe it's real and ever so strong. For years we've celebrated our love through baby-making music from the likes of Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, the list is endless. If ever there was a concert to seal a commitment to Black love for the neo-soul generation, it's a Maxwell and Jill Scott pairing.
The two have announced a U.S. tour that will kick off on May 21st in Cleveland, with additional dates in 20 cities, including Philadelphia, Oakland, Houston and New York. Maxwell is fresh off his Grammy-winning streak for BLACKsummers'night' and Jill Scott is about to star in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married, Too?" and release her latest album, "The Light of the Sun" this summer...
