The first round of performers for this year’s 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony has been announced. Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera will pay homage to the late Donna Summer, reports The Huffington Post.
Last year, the “Queen of Disco” died at 63 after a long battle with cancer. She was most recently honored at VH1’s Divas Live by Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson and Adam Lambert.
Other inductees for this year’s ceremony include Rush, Heart, Randy Newman, Public Enemy and the late Albert King. Lou Adler and Quincy Jones will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
Guitarists John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. will perform a tribute to King.
The ceremony will be held on April 18, 2013 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and will air on HBO on May 18.
