Jay-Z’s attempts at profiting from the “Occupy Wall Street” movement has failed dismally. The rapper’s Rocawear line came under fire last week after producing a line of “Occupy All Streets” T-shirts that would be sold online.

But less than a week after the announcement the $22 shirts, which featured “Occupy Wall Street” in white letters with the “W” squiggled out and an “S” squiggled in after “Street” have disappeared after Jay-Z and his camp announced that profits from the shirts would not be shared with Occupy Wall Street protesters. Critics accuse the rap mogul of trying to make a profit from the movement without supporting it.

A spokesperson for Rocawear said, “The ‘Occupy All Streets’ t-shirt was created in support of the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement. Rocawear strongly encourages all forms of constructive expression.” The spokesperson also made it clear that “official commitment to monetarily support the movement” doesn’t exist.
