The singer says she wants Paris to really enjoy her childhood and not rush being an adult.
“We’ve spoken about the fact that you’re only a child once,” said Janet. “I think there’s a time for everything and now is not the time [to act in films]. I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college – or not – but wait till she turns 18.”
Janet says Paris is a tough girl who’s got her head on straight, but strongly wishes she would reconsider her decision to become an actress. “I wouldn’t want my child to do it,” Janet followed up.
Last winter Paris announced she signed up to star in the live-action animation film Lundon’s Bridges and the Three Keys. In the movie Paris will play a young girl who survives being brainwashed by a jellyfish queen in the ocean. She will appear as a human character along with animated characters in the kid-friendly flick.
