Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is heading to the nation’s capital for Inauguration Week, according to the Associated Press. The talk-show queen plans to host two shows at the Kennedy Center’s Opera House on January 19 and 20. A staunch supporter of fellow Chicagoan and President-elect Barack Obama, Oprah was one of thousands who heard the Election Night speech from the senator. Although none of the guest appearances have been announced, we can’t help but wonder if the soon-to-be president will make a surprise visit.
