Rep. Ilhan Omar is an unabashed Lizzo fan!
The Democrat from Minnesota showed her love for the rapper when she shared a video that captured her dancing to the hit, “Truth Hurts,” at a Congressional Black Caucus event on Friday.
“We couldn’t celebrate #breakingconcreteceilings without jamming to my hometown girl @lizzo,” she tweeted.
Lizzo was raised in Houston before she later moved to Minneapolis, a move she has called “one of the best decisions” of her life.
Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) also chimed in with her own tweet, responding to a video of herself also dancing to Lizzo beside Omar.
“It’s true we all love you @lizzo,” Pressley responded.
And we love all three!
