On the eve of Howard University’s 150th homecoming week, police in Washington D.C. are investigating reports of a shooting at the historically Black college.

According to the Washington Post, the university tweeted that they received an anonymous report of a “potential shooter on campus” around noon Tuesday.

Because the safety of our students and staff are our number one priority, the Admin Bldg has been evacuated.

University President Wayne A. I. Frederick said there was no evidence of a shooting just a short while after the report was made public, the Post reports. Students and staff were instructed to shelter in place as authorities continued to sweep the campus’ buildings.

HU Community, please continue to stay in place & shelter in place. Authorities continue to sweep buildings. We appreciate your patience.
