When Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., couldn’t grow an NWA-esque wig for the upcoming biopic, Straight Outta Compton, the 24-year-old rapper was forced to wear a Jheri Curl wig. No big deal, right? Well, according to TMZ, Universal Pictures stepped in and ensured the actor had the best of the best by giving Jackson Jr. a $15,000 wig.
Of course this is a special case—the average person isn’t buying an expensive wig for a hit movie, but it begs the question, “how much is too much to spend on your hair?”
