As avid fashion and beautynistas, we’re obsessed with New York Fashion Week, but nothing tops the excitement we felt upon hearing about Fro Fashion Week! The natural hair extravaganza took place in Atlanta from February 18-20, and attracted some of the hottest stylists, bloggers, and product manufacturers (think Naturallycurly.com, Organic Root Stimulator, Curlmart and Kinky Curly) in the industry…
For a $125 all-access pass ticket, participants were treated to workshops, seminars, product demos, a shopping arena, and the grand finale “Fro Fashion Show,” where “real” women hit the catwalk flaunting fabulous natural hairstyles (one brave woman even submitted to The Big Chop in front of the audience!).
