Howard University announced today that a young female student had fully recovered from Swine Flu after contracting the illness while in Mexico last month, according to the Washington Post. The case will not impact the university’s graduation this coming weekend and the student continues to be isolated in her dorm room. Some public schools in New York, Washington, D.C., and other parts of the country continue to be closed following outbreaks with students. Health officials report the most critical time of the illness has passed.—CJ
