The multi-talented musician turns 40 today and has a big reason to celebrate. She recently spoke out about her battle with Graves disease, but today she is healthy and happy!
Before she became a household name in the mid nineties, Missy worked behind-the-scenes writing and producing hit songs for Jodeci, SWV, Destiny’s Child and the late Aaliyah. Her first album, “Supa Dupa Fly” was released in 1997, and immediately rose to the top of the charts.
Missy’s writing, producing, and rapping has earned her five Grammy Awards over the course of her career.
Happy Birthday Missy! Here’s to another 40 years of inspiration!
