An L.A. judge sentenced Halle Berry's stalker to jail and upgraded her restraining order.
This afternoon, Halle Berry’s stalker Richard Franco was sentenced to 386 days in jail for trespassing on the star’s property last July, according to TMZ.
Franco struck a plea deal with prosecutors to drop the felony burglary charge and in exchange plead no-contest to felony stalking.
In July 2011, Franco was arrested for breaking into Berry’s L.A. home. Her private security team watched as he scaled the walls of Berry’s backyard and then quickly apprehended him.
Franco has been sentenced to time served plus 193 days for the charge. He will also serve five years probation time and is ordered to undergo a one-year psychological counseling program.
At Berry’s request, her three-year restraining order has been upgraded to 10 years.
