Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have officially wed in a traditional French ceremony.
Over the weekend, the pair tied the knot at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France amongst 60 of their friends and family.
The couple received help from the local mayor, who performed their civil ceremony and proceeded with a religious ceremony in the Chateau’s chapel.
“White marquees were put up, and everyone was very discreet because it was a show business wedding,” an onlooker told Us Weekly. “But generally it was pretty down-to-earth.”
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a celebratory reception featuring dinner and fireworks.
“They all partied long into the night,” said another source.
This marks Berry’s third marriage. Her first two were with baseball star David Justice and R&B crooner Eric Benet.
Following the fail of her second marriage, the 46-year-old actress vowed that she would never get married again, but after falling for Martinez she experienced a change of heart.
“Who knew? I swore marriage off, right? Never say never people!”
