Halle Berry fans may have to wait a while before seeing her on Broadway. Formerly cast alongside Samuel L. Jackson in “The Mountaintop”, the talented actress has dropped out the play because of her child custody battle over 3-year-daughter Nahla…
The drama-award winning play takes place the night before Dr. Martin Luther King’s assisination. Berry would have played a maid at the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis, where King and his colleagues prepared a presentation the before he was shot.
Despite cast changes due to Berry’s “custody issues,” the New York Times reports Jackson is still on board for the play.
