It looks as though Toni Braxton impersonator Trina Johnson will be singing another sad love song, but unfortunately she won’t be doing so onstage. Johnson, who was arrested in February for allegedly defrauding Las Vegas concert goers, will spend more time in jail than anticipated after a judge denied her release until a trial hearing next month. Johnson and her husband, Raymond Finn, place blame on the concert promoter who they say wrongfully publicized the singer as the real Toni Braxton. The promoter has been missing since the incident occurred and there is no word on his whereabouts. Toni Braxton has refused to comment on the situation since the fiasco first transpired. Finn says Johnson, who has anemia, is not doing well considering unaccommodating conditions in jail.—PS
