Fans of ABC’s Thursday night primetime lineup (hello Scandal Gladiators!) can look forward to seeing two more Black faces onscreen this fall. Actress Jerrika Hinton and actor Gaius Charles have been promoted to series regulars on Shonda Rhimes’ other hit drama, Grey’s Anatomy.
Hinton plays Stephanie, a love interest for sexy doc Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams), and Charles will reprise his role as Shane, an overzealous intern gunning for respect at the hospital, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Last year, Charles made an appearance on ESSENCE’s list of 21 Sexy Underrated Actors You Should Know. Both actors appeared throughout season nine.
