'Go There' Wednesdays: Fishtail Braid

For a couple of seasons now, the messy side braid has been the hairdo du jour. Leave it to rap royalty Angela Simmons to update the look with a cool fishtail braid! The best part? Despite looking impossibly elaborate, the style is actually super-easy to achieve on your own. Here’s how: First, gather your hair into a side pony, leaving out face-framing layers. Separate the ponytail hair into two sections. Take a skinny strand of hair from the outside of the left section, and pull it over to the right. Do the same on the right side, and continue, back and forth, until you reach the bottom. Voila, a deceptively elaborate-looking, chic new style!
