What a difference a few years can make. Police arrested Tia Shorts, Miss Maryland USA 2004, on Wednesday at her home in Germantown, MD according to MyFoxDC.com. Police say she and her boyfriend were dealing drugs from their apartment in the Washington, D.C. suburb. She’s now charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. In court documents, police say Shorts admitted her boyfriend kept his gun, cocaine and cash in the apartment. Shorts, 29 was released on $10,000 bond. —BB
