
The producers of Fox’s hit show Glee just announced they are now filming a special episode dedicated to the late Queen of Pop, reports E! Online. The episode will feature cast members singing eight songs from Houston’s catalog. Sources from the show say this tribute will be anything but typical.

“It’s using Whitney’s music as a way to say goodbye,” they said. “A way to respectfully say thank you for her music.” They’re calling it a “character piece” that will compliment the show’s high school senior’s plot on letting go and graduating.

This is not the first acknowledgement the show has given Houston. During the week after her death, producers aired an episode in which star Amber Riley sang Houston’s smash hit “I Will Always Love You,” and they included a dedication card in her honor.
