In a recent the New Yorker interview, CIA Director Leon Panetta suggests that former Vice-President Dick Cheney is almost “wishing” for another terrorist attack, according to CNN.com. In the article, Panetta says that Cheney‘s recent criticisms of the President, like the closing of Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, shows that the former vice-president “smells some blood in the water” and almost wishes an attack will happen just to make a point. Vice-President Joe Biden refrained from commenting about his predecessor’s motive, though he calls his judgment about national security “faulty.”—Shavon S. Greene
