A new batch of text messages has surfaced between Kilpatrick and Christine Beatty, his former aide who is now doing time in prison for her part in lying to federal prosecutors about their romantic relationship. The details are played out in 682 pages of text messages between the two, including explicit details about their encounters, texts between Kilpatrick and his wife and sister as well as communications between city officials and the former mayor, according to the Associated Press. Attorneys representing Kilpatrick plan to sue SkyTell for $100 million for releasing his text messages to the news media.—WLW
