First Look: Rye Rye In Prabal Gurung

Baltimore’s own Rye Rye definitely is having a huge fashion moment. The young rapper can be seen exclusively wearing Prabal Gurung’s first Resort collection in her music video for “New Thing.”

How did this partnership happen?

When you embark to the resort season for the first time, you want to stand out amongst all the collections. Gurung certainly doesn’t need to do much to get industry buzz since he’s an award-winning designer and a favorite of Michelle Obama. But he’s like any designer in his field – always working hard and always searching for creative ways to show his collections.
