The First Family may have spent Easter Sunday worshipping at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., but they are still on a quest to find their spiritual home. Their choice in Trinity United Church of Christ led by Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr., didn’t go over so well during the presidential campaign, so the President is being cautious when it comes to making this choice, according to the WashingtonPost.com. African-Americans apparently aren’t all that concerned about where the Obamas decide to attend church services as many in the church community understand that this is a family choice that will take time. That however hasn’t stopped a number of local churches sending letters of invitation to the White House hoping to make the President’s decision easier for him.—WLW
