A young family is doing all that they can to fight for the life of their newborn son.
For mother of three, Crystal Howser, the realities of the devastation the disease can cause hit home in early December, when her son Colin was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just three weeks old.

Howser and her husband have had their world flipped completely upside down over the past week, just ahead of Christmas, as they have relocated their lives to the John Hopkins Children’s Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland to remain with their young son as doctors prepare him for the tough journey ahead. As two small business owners and proud parents, the Howsers are working dilligently to balance caring for their two young daughters with handling the emotional and physical toll Colin’s sudden diagnosis has taken on their family.
Baby Colin is considered to be extremely high risk because of his young age and the Howsers have launched a #CourageForColin GoFundMe campaign to help ease some of the financial burden, as their family dedicates all of their time and resources to the recovery of their baby boy.
We send all of our thoughts and prayers to this family and little Colin as they work through this trying time.
