Singer Faith Evans stopped by Bethenny Frankel’s hit daytime talk show Bethenny to discuss her love life, friendships and past relationships. Although Evans is typically very private about her personal life, she did open up to Frankel.
“My friends always tease me because since I’ve been divorced, they know I’m not going to really date anybody and they call me ‘granny,’” she revealed.
That said, Evans, who has now been divorced for almost two years, says she’s open to finding love again but it may not lead to marriage.
“I’m very careful about who I bring into my private space in that sense, especially in a romantic sense,” she said.
Although Evans married her first husband, the late rapper Notorious B.I.G, just two months after they met, she says she’s in no hurry to run back down the aisle again.
“There was a time when that was definitely a part of big picture,” she said when asked if she’d ever get married again. “I wouldn’t say ‘no,’ but I’m definitely not looking for it.”
