Beautifully sculpted eyebrows are still what women want. The upkeep can be time-consuming and expensive if wanting them perfect but the days of getting them shaped, painted on and filled in may be over with this hugely popular make-up technique. Microblading is a relatively new method of permanent cosmetics for one’s eyebrows that deposits pigments into the epidermis with a hand-held tool made of very fine needles. The needles implant color to the brow and mimics the growth of natural hair and the results are natural looking brows fully filled in and flawless. The procedure is also considered mildly uncomfortable and a topical anesthetic cream is applied to help numb the area before application. If it sounds technical, then you would be right as people should be trained to do this so checking one’s credentials is necessary and advised. This technique cannot be mastered in one day so doing your research in finding a qualified technician. Make sure they offer a patch test, and a consultation where shape, color, and expectations are discussed thoroughly.

As one would imagine, this will set you back anywhere from $300 to $500 or $600 depending on where you live and how upscale the facility is that offers this service. The finished product lasts around 1 to 3 years but is suggested to return annually for a touch-up to retain the shape and saturation of the pigment. OK, ladies…any takers?
