Georgie Badiel has come a long way. Literally. In 2007, the African-born beauty made the trek from her native Burkina Faso to London and then New York to pursue her dream of modeling. With the title of Miss Africa 2005 under her belt, Badiel quickly landed on the some catwalks of leading labels from Louis Vuitton to Diane von Furstenberg. Editorials for national magazines came calling just as quickly, including her first ESSENCE Magazine Shoot in 2008.
