Actress Tasha Smith recently walked down the aisle of her living room to say, “I do” to her fiance, entrepreneur Keith Douglas, she tells Essence.com. Smith and Douglas announced their engagement six months ago and decided on an intimate ceremony with just the two of them at their Los Angeles home earlier this month. “We discussed having a small wedding with close family and friends, but instead, we decided to hold a very simple, intimate ceremony with just us and our pastor,” said Smith. “We prayed about it and it just felt right for us. It was a beautiful, blessed moment that we will remember forever. We’re thankful to God to end the year on such a high note. It’s exciting!” The happy couple honeymooned at the Lake Las Vegas Resort in Nevada. Smith can next be seen in the TD Jakes’ movie, “Jumping the Broom” co-starring Paula Patton and Angela Bassett, which hits theaters in May 2011. Congratulations to Tasha and Keith!
