The ex-fiancé of a Navy Chief Petty Officer found murdered in her Florida home was arrested Friday. Andrea Washington was found dead inside her home back in September. The incident occurred after she filed a domestic violence injunction against her fiance Danny Ray Beard just two weeks before. At the court filing, Washington said in her petition that Beard threatened her with a gun. She also reported he pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach. She had also filed a separate police report against Beard for aggravated assault. The day Washington was found dead, Beard appeared in court to defend the domestic violence injunction against him. A court dismissed the temporary restraining order because Washington did not attend. She was already deceased. Beard briefly appeared before a judge Saturday morning. He’s being held without bond. Andrea Washington had just been promoted and pinned by the Navy days before her death. She was a mother to three sons and was from Atlanta, Texas. Beard’s next court date set for Dec. 31.
