Essential Viewing: The Week in Pictures

It was a great week for us here at ESSENCE.com, and it seems like our favorite celebs had a blast, too!

We were ecstatic about Jada Pinkett-Smith and ESSENCE Music Festival headliner Chaka Khan stopping by the ESSENCE office to celebrate the launch of our new site. President and First Lady Obama also did a little celebrating of their own, as they hosted the Congressional Picnic at the White House this week.
