On Friday, February 20, the White House will host “Celebrating Women of the Movement,” a special panel to be moderated by ESSENCE editor-in-chief Vanessa K. De Luca. First Lady Michelle Obama will open the discussion. De Luca will be speaking with a panel of multigenerational Black women who have been crucial to the civil rights movements of yesterday and today.
