It was recently discovered that an Internet security breach has quietly exposed everyone’s online information—credit card info, passwords, addresses—for the past two years.

An encryption flaw called the Heartbleed bug is already being called one of the biggest security threats the Internet has ever seen. Popular sites like Google, Facebook, and Amazon have been affected. It’s not entirely clear how many sites were made vulnerable to the bug, but some have already updated their servers with a security patch to fix the issue. Updating your passwords on those sites will help keep your information less vulnerable.
