Yesterday, Justin Timberlake made his grand return to music after a nearly 7-year absence from the charts. Within a matter of hours his song, “Suit & Tie” feat. Jay-Z, hit number one on iTunes—as we knew it would.
Just days ago Beyoncé sent her beehive into a tizzy when she announced that Destiny’s Child would be releasing a ballads album featuring one brand new song, “Nuclear,” after a 9-year absence from music.
But Timberlake and Destiny’s Child aren’t the only artists fans and music lovers around the globe would like to hear new tunes from. In fact, there’s an entire roster of artists who, for one reason or another, have been missing from the music scene far too long.
