First Lady Michelle Obama is known for her great style. But during a taping of BET’s 106 and Park yesterday, FLOTUS admitted that she, like all of us, has had fashion regrets. She revealed that she regrets the time she wore shorts on Air Force One back in August 2009 because it caused “a huge stink.”
To Mrs. Obama’s credit, it was a hot summer day and her family was preparing to tour the Grand Canyon in Arizona while on family vacation. But while we believe she had the right to bare legs, her fashion choice got immediate backlash from others. “Sometimes I forget I’m first lady and I’m running around in shorts,” she shared.
FLOTUS’s confession got us thinking about our own fashion faux pas. They range from wearing velour tracksuits to a VPL (visible panty line—get it?).
