Rumors have been swirling around Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s marriage since the dawn of time. Do they have an open marriage? Is this the year that they’re getting divorced? Honestly, it’s none of our business.
Jada was quick to shut those rumors down (for the umpteenth time) yesterday on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show. But she did have one interesting confession to make: She thought she got married too young, and she would advise her children against tying the knot at the ripe young age of 25.
“Don’t do it,” she said she would tell Jaden and Willow. “It did work out [for Will and I], but it worked out in a way that—thank God—I have a husband who is just a gangster partner because can you imagine taking that road together from 25 to 44? Woooo… We have traveled. You’ve got to be strong. It takes work.”
Do you agree with Jada? Is 25 too young to get married, or are you comfortable jumping the broom as soon as you graduate college? Take our poll and tell us at why it is or isn’t worth the wait.
