Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson declared Sunday that he would “love” to see Roe vs. Wade overturned, making abortions illegal nationwide.
According to NBC News, while appearing on ‘Meet the Press’ Carson discussed the controversial issue saying, “I’m a reasonable person and if people can come up with a reasonable explanation of why they would like to kill a baby, I’ll listen.”
Carson went on to say that even in the case of rape or incest, he doesn’t believe abortion is an acceptable choice.
“I would not be in favor of killing a baby because the baby came about in that way,” Mr. Carson said citing “the many stories of people who have led very useful lives who were the result of rape or incest.”
