Erykah Badu and her daughters are the cutest singing trio in a new video posted on the singer’s Facebook page.
In the clip, Badu and daughters Puma and Mars sing Colbie Caillat’s viral hit, “Try” in perfect harmony.
The song, co-written by Caillat, Babyface and Jason Reeves, encourages women to be their authentic selves. Caillat told PEOPLE she wrote “Try” after feeling the pressures of the music industry. “[People in the business] wanted me to dress a little sexier and kind of change the artist that I was,” she said. She recalled Babyface telling her “you don’t have to try to be someone else because people like who you are.”
Sounds like the perfect song to sing with our babies.
