Funnyman Eddie Murphy is linked as the star of writer and director Bill Condon’s biopic on Richard Pryor, according to Entertainment Weekly. The script is currently being shopped to Hollywood production companies. Murphy played a large part in Condon’s award-winning screen adaptation of “Dreamgirls.” If there is anyone who can do the comedic legend justice, Eddie is the man. —CJ
