Although Donald Trump has publicly degraded Black people and all others of pure, non-White descent, he still seems determined to win their vote in the 2016 election. As of June 30, Trump had only accrued a mere 1% of African-American voters for support in the upcoming election. But as of today, he’s determined to change that as he has officially named Omarosa Manigault as his director of African-American outreach.

If you remember correctly, Omarosa boosted Trump (and NBC’s) ratings during the pilot season of The Apprentice in 2004. Since then, she’s proclaimed herself to be reality TV’s “greatest reality TV villain of all time.” Now, she’s back in Trump’s limelight, attempting to lead him to victory with the potential help of a few million Black voters.

Only One Percent Of Black Voters Support Donald Trump

The news was announced tonight during MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. According to NY Daily News, Donald Trump has 0% support from Black voters in swing states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, making the former TV star’s job even harder – as most African-Americans are already not her biggest fans. But this isn’t Manigault’s first position alongside Trump since The Apprentice. Among her new title as director, Omarosa also served as the vice chair of Trump’s National Diversity Coalition.

“It’s really an extension of the work the coalition has already been doing, so I’m very happy to take up that cause for Donald Trump,” Omarosa told MSNBC. Skeptical about the current statistics roaming around concerning her boss, Omarosa continued, saying, “I wonder who they polled, I just spent an amazing weekend with African Americans for Trump, about 300 of them. Those numbers would be flawed according to the people who have come out to support.”

If you didn’t catch that, Omarosa just used 300 people in a country of millions as evidence to prove that Blacks are indeed for Trump! Good luck with the new job, Omarosa!
