Dior Couture Makeup Goes 3-D

In Paris yesterday, the international fashion elite couldn’t stop buzzing about Dior’s Fall/Winter 2011 Haute Couture show. Forget the eclectic ensembles — the over-the-top makeup (shown here on Ajak Deng) was the talk of the town.

Conceptualized by makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath, the cartoonish eye makeup blended 3-D imagery with color-blocking technique. And if you ask us, the look was exactly what couture collection makeup should be: fanciful, spectacular, and edgy.
