The news surfaced over the weekend that Amy was preparing to adopt 10-year-old Dannika Augustine, a girl from St. Lucia, who Amy met while she lived at the Cotton Bay Village Resort on the island.
“It’s not true” Amy’s rep told TMZ. “I think [Amy] might have met [Dannika] in St. Lucia, but she was in no way about to adopt her.”
The original reports of the adoption surfaced when Dannika’s grandmother told The Sunday Mirror about Amy’s alleged plans.
