In the first of his advertisements, DeRay’s father Calvin reveals his son’s passion for activism and helping others makes him the ideal candidate to become the Maryland city’s 50th mayor.
“DeRay will have a very positive impact on this race because he will change the status quo,” the elder McKesson said. “Politicians make promises. We don’t need promises anymore we need action.”
