"I honestly think this is going to be one of the best times in history because we about to change s--t."

David Banner took to Facebook on Wednesday to share a live video about his thoughts on Trump's election and it seems he believes this may be the best thing for Black people.

Banner told viewers, "This may be the best thing to ever happen to black people, maybe in history because now there is no excuse." Banner explained that both presidential candidates were pretty bad – well, one has allegedly raped and assaulted women and spouts racist and xenophobic rhetoric, but anyway – and he sees Trump's win as an opportunity for Black people to mobilize and hopes it will force Black people to take action, which is something many have already been doing.

"Asians and Russians in America are not really worried about an election as much because they build their own communities," he said, "Now we're going to have to build our own communities, it's on us." He went on, "For me it's now, what are we going to do as a community? What is the agenda? And, I'm going to stop waiting on black people having an agenda, I'm gone create one."

Banner added, "I love y’all with all my heart. I honestly think this is going to be one of the best times in history because we about to change s--t. At least I am, I don’t know what the f--k y’all going to do.”

We're happy he's got a positive outlook; we just wish the message was more informed.
