Yesterday, David Alan Grier had fans in a tizzy when he announced that he would be the new Colonel Sanders.

Well, that announcement was false. KFC responded to the comedian and Kevin Hochman, chief marketing officer for KFC shared in a statement, 

“There is no new Colonel Sanders.”
