TIJUANA, MEXICO – DECEMBER 01: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), officers block the Otay Mesa port of entry from Mexico into the United States early on December 1, 2018 as seen from Tijuana, Mexico. CPB officers staged the crowd control training exercise, using riot gear and fake tear gas, in advance of a potential attempt by members of the migrant caravan to rush the border crossing. CNN published screenshots from “The Real CBP Nation” Facebook page, which contains “multiple demeaning memes of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat, and other derisive images of Asians and African-Americans.”

A new Facebook group linked to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which has been shown to contain demeaning images of migrants, has been uncovered days after a similar group was discovered.

One disgusting meme posted on the group’s page, for example, depicts a Border Patrol agent apprehending someone.

“Feelin kinda cute, might separate some families today idk,” the caption read.

CNN said it could not independently access the Facebook group, which has about 1,000 members, or verify how many members were connected to CBP.

“These posts do not reflect the core values of the agency and do not reflect the vast majority of employees who conduct themselves professionally and honorably every day, on and off duty,” a CPB spokesperson told CNN.

The new discovery comes days after the exposure of another similar Facebook group in a report by ProPublica. In that group, Border Patrol agents also reportedly made derogatory posts about migrants and lawmakers.
