Cuba Gooding, Jr. is currently playing O.J. Simpson on FX’s too-hot-to-miss series, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. During a stop by ESSENCE Live earlier today, the Oscar-winning actor recalled exactly where he was during O.J.’s now infamous 90-minute slow-speed Bronco car chase in 1994.
“I was at a friend’s house watching the Knicks game,” he said, adding that they soon switched from the game to the chase. They listened to the game on the radio so they could give their full attention to what would be the beginning of one of the most televised court cases in history.
