Is it true? The rumors of actress Zoe Saldana’s pregnancy are on full blast. Although she’s staying quiet about whether she is or isn’t expecting, word on the street has been that Saldana, 36, and her Italian artist husband Marco Perego are about to be parents. This week Saldana snapped a shot with her fellow Guardians of The Galaxy cast members, wearing a high-waisted pencil skirt that seemed to show off her growing belly. [HollywoodLife]

Jada Pinkett Smith calls her Gotham character Fish Mooney “a mix of Griselda Blanco with Norma Desmond.” Pinkett Smith returns to the small screen this fall in the new Fox drama about Gotham City, before Batman was Batman. The show is set to air on Fox, September 22. [AccessHollywood]

The story of King Arthur and his knights just got more interesting. Idris Elba has been cast to play Bedivere, Arthur’s father’s right-hand man in Warner Bros.’ Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film will tell a reimagined story of King Arthur, his knights and the kingdom of Camelot. Tyler Perry is being sued by Atlanta-based entertainment company, Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios, accusing him of working with governement officials in an unfair way regarding the redevelopment of a former Army base. Ubiquitous’ CEO claims that Perry tried to convince government officials to give him the property, instead of making a deal with his company instead. [AssociatedPress]

Uzo Aduba was on the verge of giving up on her acting career before she got her role on the Netflix hit, Orange is The New Black. For years the newly Emmy-nominated actress tried to do theater in New York and was on the verge of quitting when she got the call for OITNB. “It was hard, and I was like, ‘Maybe I’m not supposed to be this,’ you know? Gospel singer Kierra Sheard has partnered with Saving our Daughters, an organization dedicated to getting teen girls involved in key conversations about abuse and bullying. Sheard’s upcoming album, Graceland, is acting as a platform to get her new PSA ‘Don’t Quit’ out into the public. The PSA is surrounded around overcoming challenges that young girls often face in life.  Not only is her album acting as the platform the the PSA, it also speaks to a lot of the messages Sheard is standing for.
